So how do I get all this to work? I don’t see any posts unless I look up hashtags, and whenever I try to follow someone it doesn’t go through. #asknostr

Which app are you using?
Right now I switch between Damus and Primal because I can’t decide which one to use.
I don't use iOS so I haven't tried Damus and I rarely use Primal. On Amethyst, which is Android, sometimes I've had to press Follow a couple of times to get it to stick.
If that doesn't work, maybe you could copy their npub, close the app, reopen it, paste in the npub and try to follow them again.
On Damus when you view someone’s profile there should be a follow button top right. That doesn’t work?
No I am trying to follow all the people that just followed me and every time I do it is like nothing happened. It still says I’m following 0 people.

Try some other apps too. I’ve found Primal has been the most consistent although they all have their quirks.
