Dandelions aren’t weeds.
They are a front line, special forces plant in the war to reclaim land from dry, dead, and unusable, (i.e. what humans do ) to a fertile multi layer ecosystem. They like to operate with Clover, and long rooting grass.
Go into a cleared, dry, gravel lot, and the first things to start growing at the edges are these 3.
The greens are also edible with unusually concentration of nutrients , and the roots can be dried and roasted, and used like coffee.
I am probably the only person within 1000 miles of this place who actually bought dandelion seeds to sow on our land.
