All signs point to yes

What bugs me about this show is that I feel like I'm watching Patrick Stewart much more than Jean-Luc Picard.

Picard was so uptight. He almost never smiled and he made everyone around him anxious to meet his high standard. Stewart otoh is like a cozy old gay grandpa.

Still, this season is looking good compared to the first two. The asshole captain is a great character.

The closing title sequence is amazing. These close-up detail shots of the LCARS interface is something I have wanted to see for 30 years.

By the end of E02 I am starting to see Picard come through. I hope this transformation continues. Happy to see that Captain Asshole is apparently with us for the duration. Looking forward to more old man Worf.

This series feels a bit like a Rolling Stones reunion tour.

It's pretty funny that Picard's kid seems to have inherited his French father's English accent despite being raised exclusively by his American mother.

Worf was listening to the same Berlioz opera that Picard had on after he learned of the death of his brother and nephew. Nice reference but it's a very dark piece, not exactly in-line with Worf's chamomile tea. Debussy would have been a better choice.
