i dunno.

i was picturing people who cant cut down a tree for the winter, or plant potatoes,

but are convinced they are the future of everything.

I think it’s what you pointed out. cheap money enabling us to be entertained to death. The whole apparatus is some kind of delusional Skinner box that we are all living in.
