Theory: Elon bought Twitter to disrupt statis censorship but really wants to get everyone on to nostr which is a more stable protocol to resist censorship. When he promotes Doge, he means Bitcoin, but doesn't want to end up like McAfee.

I really don't think he's that smart. Also don't think he's thought about Bitcoin very deeply, and I doubt he's even aware of nostr.
He specifically mentioned nostr when he banned links to other social media, even though nostr only had about 10000 users at the time. No way he can be smart enough to have a number of billion dollar companies and be that dumb.
I once worked for a company owned by an eccentric billionaire. He would say outlandish stuff in the media, but was trying to achieve something altogether different with the reaction.
Ah ok fair enough.
Annoying that he doesn't just be honest about what he thinks.
