Lawyer 3 and beyond are the only path. Bitcoin base layer will never be available to the "poor" or even the "middle".

Iām hoping over time for some lighting innovations that make layer 2 more feasible in this regard, but in the meantime I begrudgingly agree. Kind of all hypothetical at this point.
