For micro payments WoS is great, BUT only if you're clever and only use it for that. Zaps will be impossible (crazy waiting times) on a Node through Tor.
yeah, you are right, it is handy. IMO own domain and btcpay server is more independent/self sufficient, lndhub and blue wallet is an option too, heck you can have alby point to your node on desktop :-) many options now, they way it should be. Pick your poison I guess...
Yeah, I absolutely favor to have a lot of choices because it lowers the attack vector. I have my own Tor node which works great for bigger transactions. Zeus is the absolute best client for those.
