Proton has released Lumo, a private AI assistant focused on privacy, encryption & transparency 🔐

No logs, no data sharing, not used to train models.

Built on open-source tech, hosted in Europe 🇪🇺

Free to use—no account needed.

A bold move toward ethical AI.

Are you happy with this release, or did you hope Proton would build something else? 🤔

i feel like it makes a big step towards privacy into a much smaller step

before it was, use OpenAI/Gemini/etc or self-host something like ollama or gpt4all on powerful hardware

now it's "just bookmark lumo instead of openai"
