Both parties operate this way. Politicians typically, almost all of the time have no actual character. They have one guiding principle. Get votes. Most are hollow people that simply want power and prestige. Democracy leads to this. Its just how the incentives work.

We need a cultural reset. We need to base our society on ancient moral bedrock. I believe we need to return to christian orthodoxy. We have a void where there once was a morality.
