I get chills down my back every time a merchant doesn’t take cash. They’re starting to act like I’m the asshole for trying to pay with MONEY. 🙄

I always ask if they accept ₿itcoin yet and then I act like they’re living in the past if they say no. ₿ecause they are.
I have a little leather coin purse I bought online from Thailand. I love being able to give these guys the exact amount required & then walking out.
The worst thing about using cash was accumulating so much change in coins.
There's a video (from the UK, I think?) of someone paying in cash even though the grocery store doesn't officially accept it. Apparently most places have a law that stores must accept legal tender, so he left the cash on the counter and walked out with his groceries.
I’ll have to check that out.
Mine were a sporting event and a museum. I think I would have had a situation on my hands if I tried this 😅
