You’re absolutely right.

Three additions:

1. Paying zero can be seen as disrespectful. Paying what you can works better even if it’s little. Honesty counts.

2. The main thing I miss when buying with money is that I have a hard time communicating my vision. This works better without money involved.

3. Discounting for my own time is the most difficult part. I’d like to do everything myself. I can not. Only additional lifetime could solve that issue (and probably still wouldn’t).
