This and possibility due to the ppl working on it. I don’t see an end in sight as long as the devs stay passionate. I know one that is in it for the long haul at least and I hope that’s the case for more of them 💜 nostr:note1t70xn8y4dgzqpx6zjjaudh97j35ugnn9vp7wndnf49zatpmdlmrq6wgrav
Discussion
Passionate devs are needed, but I would like to see them cooperate more on features across clients, and also make it easier to share content externally that brings more people here.
Then fund it
Agreed! Can you elaborate more on the second point?
Right now, sharing posts from Nostr on other platforms is inconsistent, since they have to point to a webserver. Whichever one it is could be the first entry point to Nostr someone experiences. Is it welcoming and easy to understand, or is it frustrating? Does the link and any content expand or is it just a bare URL? When you arrive, does what you see look like it was built by an engineer, or was design and user experience considered? How does an uninitiated user know which app to start with? Has any work been done on meeting accessibility standards over the past year?
I realize that the decentralized nature of Nostr means these questions may not be easily addressable, but I think they’re worth exploring.
