#aquaponics #solar need to construct some mounts but the system is running one pond pump that is on half the day. Good project to understand how solar works. Always need more shade for the pond :)

Love it. One day I want to build a smaller pond like this to use as a grow out pond for the fish I catch off my big half and 2 acre ponds

Yeah, I’m pretty dialed in with the system, if you had a pump running though gravel, media, and plants in there it will filter your water so well.

My plan is to plant it so heavily and have it so sparsely populated that I don't need any electric.

I have not, these are the basic 100w renology kit from Amazon. Wanted to get my hands dirty without a lot invested.

I hear ya. I’ve been trying to learn with a 20W kit but having trouble with the power inverter part. 😄

I need to clean it up, some inverters have the red, black cables. I just clamped those directly to the battery.

Yup. Mine is always saying “SC” for short circuit tho. Maybe battery is too small? 🤔

Haven’t had much time to look into it but you def inspired me to.

Yeah I gave up with my small battery and tabs, would probably solder the connections together.
