Thanks for sending me this book

I will go through by it but it looks very similar to Vipassana meditation by SN Goenka tradition.

yes, it is influenced primarily by burmese theravada buddhism, so very similar.

But I find Daniel’s commentary very entertaining and his focus on technique is second to none

After a few years of these meditation paths

I have learned just one thing if you don't do it morning and evening

it is of no use

In our tradition, they ask us to do 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in evening

for last 6 years after my first Goenka course I did nothing but tried and read so many meditation traditions and techniques

I read hundreds of books on meditation and I found that meditation by goinka is a very pure and clean meditation

there are very subtle differences in all these techniques of meditation

there is no end to it

We don't know which is the perfect technique like in share market when you go out to buy stocks or Bitcoin you can never find the bottom

similarly I have decided to pick one and go with it with full heart

I have decided that I will never ever read and learn about any other meditation technique because that creates doubt and with doubt you can never meditate

Now I’m even more excited for you to read it! And please, let me know what you think if you do.

I will read it ,. more for you 😀

I have no doubts now

I absolutely understand your situation when we want to know the answers and verify our meditation technique.

I used to send books and links to my gurus to go through those different techniques.

I have been in the same situation for many years.

In the meantime try to read a book

art of living by William hart

it is available on audible and YouTube everywhere

hell yea!

I’m actually with you, I don’t think the technique you choose matters much. It’s more important that you dedicate yourself to practice and mastery of your chosen technique.

I’m not recommending it to you because I want you to learn new techniques, but rather for enjoyment, like you would read a scifi novel.

I’ll check out art of living :)

Vipin, thank you for the fantastic recommendation! I’m about half way through the art of living.

It’s concise, practical, and clear. A masterpiece :)
