Example: I learned to embroider way before it became trendy. Many of my friends are now big time “influencers” in that industry. They have been kind enough to send me “loot boxes” of various things like their books, threads, etc. Cause friendship.

Various friendly talks with some who sought to help lift me to that level have always ended with me explaining that was never my goal. 😂
