Wondering how much associated gas is flared in deep water. Obviously floating LNG is an option but it's big infrastructure with high complexity level. A modular scalable generator and mining setup safely can't be too complex and facilitates conversion of energy to transmissible value on site. An FPSO may already be a little cramped for space without prior design integration but the possibility of a connectable Floating Bitcoin Facility with quick disconnect for bad weather etc should not be an insurmountable task to design.

Also, when oil for btc? Sitting in El Salvador after the adopting bitcoin conference it seems logical. Volcano energy is all well and good but still need liquids for transportation etc. Energy to value to energy protocol. Use bitcoin effectively as an energy swap facilitator.
