The biggest problem I see with Vanguard ETF, beside counter party risk and rehypothication of underlying shares, is the "shareholder capitalism" Vanguard and Blackrock can shove down the throats of corporations. Blackrock basically says to corps, " Want to be in my ETF and dip your beak in this massive pool of money? Then you will adopt these ESG and DIE guidelines"
