Serious question: How do you step on top of your GitHub notifications?

Mark all as read āœ…

Ignore

* never "watch" a repo/org for any activity. That just subscribes you to all issues/PRs and it's absolute hell. If you unwatch, you will get automatically subscribed whenever you are the author, get mentioned or someone requests your reviews

* manually unsubscribe from issues/PRs when you think you probably won't have anything else to add

* just focus on github.com/pulls/review-requested as your "work queue"

* have dedicated chat channels where people can ping you if you really needed

* if you go away for awhile, mark your github status as busy so that no one can request a review from you

Excuse my wall of text answer but this is actually a heavy discussion topic I have with my co-workers all the time

Dude the python-nostr repo needs some attention.

Please sir

Bro.

Fork it. Thats what i did last year

I also forked it from the original. Did you improve on my fork?

I forked from your fork because i needed to add crude AUTH support and some other stuff

But now there are two versions! I’m kinda stuck because they both have needed features!
