As one who dealt in some contracts at that scale I’ll tell you some reasons I’ve seen in the past…

1. It doesn’t prove value or worth

2. They already invented a similar product but haven’t shown it yet.

3. They will take the idea & create something better.

4. They don’t like you for whatever reason.

5. Money issues
