I keep hearing so much about immigration. I’m in the Union, and I’ve been blessed because of my work ethic ,and safety and construction knowledge to always have work…. But I’ve seen the safety, quality, and straight good paying jobs erode faster and faster by the year. The common practice in my industry is 6-7am start. Which means I wake up at 4am everyday to be on site by 6am. The non skilled labor that are being hired are lucky to show up by 8am, most don’t roll in till 10am. And 90% of them are horrible at what they do! Mostly untrained and unskilled. This needs to be stopped.
