Yeah man , it is almost a repeat . He was pulled in front of congress because they gave him millions of dollars to find an effective treatment for AIDS , and all he did was suppress cheap and effective treatments while promoting AZT (which was a chemotherapy agent that was shelved in the 50's because it was deemed too toxic even for chemo ) as a wonder cure , making millions for pharma .

He wormed his way out of that situation by pretending to be sorry for a little bit , and then doing it all over again .
