Look, I get your point and I'm pro gun and don't disagree, but power is kinda a relative term here... 5.56 has a shit load of velocity. It's a lot more power than any pistol cartridge.

If we are discussing the act of taking a loaded weapon off SAFE and firing it at a human, that is deadly intent wether it be a .22 or higher.
