An individual is better suited for creative pursuit - especially if they can execute it. Groups have more stakeholders which limits creative output as opinions must be satisfied.

This is completely true. This is why many improvements have come from a single individual, rather than from a collective. Also an individual knows very well its own values so he can concentrate all of its energy to that achievement he/she wants to fulfill.
