Personally I think “The Coddling of the American Mind” makes like 5 good points, but any good writer could have expressed all of them perfectly in 5 to 10 pages.

The fact that this book runs to almost 300 is absurd.

It's like they took a great piece of bubble gum which would normally be half an inch square and stretched it out to half a mile.

I read it about a decade ago so can’t remember the specifics too much. Yes. You could summarise the book in a few bullet points even, but several supporting examples would have been given which are useful. Thanks for the link to the criticism
