Why then does it display my private key under settings, backup keys?

If you never signed in with your private key and you’re using Amber, you shouldn’t even see the menu item “Backup Keys” in the first place.

Yes, I had previously. And even though I logged out and tried the 'login with Amber' process, clearing the cache is what I initially missed. Works now. Thanks.

Because you're probably still not using amber. You have to log out first. Then log in with the flow with amber.

Yes, I logged out of course. Clearing the cache is what I missed initially. Now it works without showing keys.
