yield means "what is given up"

like "give way" is a common sign text, the red outline triangle, but "yield" is another one, so in a congestion resolution scenario, you "yield" to the left on a roundabout, or is that right in right side driving countries?

The key is to enter the roundabout with tremendous speed so you yield to none.

double lane roundabouts are just a bad idea... it's enough to say "look to your door-side for oncoming traffic" to add to that "but stick to the middle if you go forward or passenger-side"
