The 2 broad sides I see are those that advocate for personal responsibility & those that advocate for "saving" by some external entity.
I find people tend to lean towards one or the other. It's illuminating & sometimes surprising to see which position people generally lean towards.
To me it's a fundamental part of the discernment process.
