I'm learning more about lightning privacy practises from your discussions with the nostr net.

But what about nostr? Best practises to maintain anon? Would love to hear the ultimate stack: wallet, client, relay etc.

Get a #GrapheneOS phone if you haven't already. If you are still using stock Android or iOS then you can't have privacy.

Install Proton or Mullvad VPN, turn on killswitch and multi-hop servers.

Install nostr:nprofile1qqs24yz8xftq8kkdf7q5yzf4v7tn2ek78v0zp2y427mj3sa7f34ggjcpzamhxue69uhhv6t5daezumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddakj703s8dt client, turn on Internal Tor and all privacy settings.

With this setup all your #nostr trafic will go through 2 VPN servers and then through Tor (3 more servers).

The goal is to hide your real identity(IP address), not your actions (posts, comments, likes), because your relays can see everything you do and type, except DMs content.

Careful posting pictures/videos, they can contain metadata that leak information about you. Practice good #opsec.

If you want to go full anon, then use different npubs with no nym and rotate regularly.

Got a Graphene and Mullvad and Amethyst. Sorted those Tor settings.

Will use a metadata cleaner when posting images and vids moving forward.

This is good practise although I'm pretty f'd for this account bcoz I signed up with Alby, which needs an email. Anyway. Can start a fresh with this info. Thanks. Oh, and wallet? Coinos, Zeus?

Multiple Coinos accounts for decoys on Nostr. Zeus as your "main" LN wallet/node.

You can't have privacy with #GrapheneOS. Take a few steps back, the obvious problem is that all phones are chock full of mysterious black boxes that the owner of the device has zero say over.

We urgently need open source hardware. Or at least a replacement for the proprietary #baseband in smartphones. #SS7 #M2M-RSP #M2M #RSP #Reticulum Network.
