Did a comparison on our pork chops vs. store bought.
No I’m not a butcher so my cuts are not great but was also from our first pig. Such a difference in the color, fat and flavor.

I learned the same thing recently. What breed of pigs do you raise?
They’re Hampshire and American Guinea Hog Crosses. My gut tells me a little more Hamp but they are a little slower to grow as well. Either way they’ve been great. Trying to grow them out a little longer this time around
