I emptied a JoinMarket wallet because I needed to return a dead hard drive for warranty, there is a text file with the keys on the drive, and the drive not file are encrypted. I figured it’s best to drain the wallet and create a new one in case the vendor is able to fix the drive. Afterwards i threw away my paper copy of the keys. Today, I finally got JoinMarket + Jam working on my TrueNas setup, and while funding a fidelity bond I realized there’s still sats in a fidelity bond with those now lost keys locked up until October.

I got a bad habit of throwing away keys.
