I just recovered data from a Lenovo IdeaPad laptop that suffered damaged from a water spill.

The owner may also want to have the laptop repaired. I looked up replacement motherboards and they are available.

If replacing the motherboard, I recommend upgrading from the original Intel i3 to a replacement motherboard that has the Intel i5. It is only a bit more for cost and likely well worth it.
