I'll buy you 0.232% of one... 💜🐕

🙏🏻 thanks!

We are with you in prayer 🙏

I built a 2TB Umbrel for $200.

I did look at Umbrel but the UX seems so much better on a Start9

Either way, you can flash the OS to a NUC for less than half the price. If you’re wealthy and want to support development, sure buy hardware from start9/umbrel. But, not everyone has it like that.

That's fair. I don't see myself as being very technical - why its appealing. It comes with technical support which is a bonus.

You don't want that. Buy a refurb'd Dell for 1/3 the price and stack the delta.

I bought a Intel Nuc and a 2Tb SSD was fairly easy and didnt come with a VAT bill and other fun stuff they like to imports.

I wish. 🤞

I believe the Start9 Server Pure has the Intel IME disabled. So that's an important consideration over a mini-PC with a post-'08 CPU.

I'm not sure about the Server One and the status of AMD's PSP back door.

a big perk of buying their computer over DIY is you will get permanent access to their matrix support channel. They have great customer service and odds are you will be very thankful to have such access while exploring the world of self-hosted services.
