Lao Tsu, Seneca and Bitcoin are philosophers of the ages that fix humanity one mind at a time.

As you’ve seen, I’ve been diving into Will Durant’s Story Of Civilization, book 3, Caesar and Christ, and the serene clarity of the Tao Te Ching’s 16th chapter echos the wisdom of Seneca. Both point to a powerful truth: when you grasp the root cause of things, whether it’s the nature of life or the rath of the lunch lady, peace flows in and decisions become clear.

Now, in that truth lies “fix the money, fix the world.” Knowing the tendency for truth to well up like I geyser once truth Pierce’s the veil of lies, Bitcoin with its unshakeable foundation of decentralized, sound money, cuts through the chaos of fiat systems. So you wonder why Nostr is more peaceful, and less of a host to ideas that retard corrections being made? Nostr is full of those who understand Bitcoin. There’s an overlap here.

Much like Seneca’s rational clarity or Lao Tzu’s return to the root of the many things that come at us, by fixing the root of our economic system, Bitcoin offers a path to stability that frees us from the theft of our time, and thus our optimism and hope, thereby letting us focus on what truly matters; we get to focus on our families, our communities, the giving of our talents, and the righting of the course of our nation. This Stoic and Taoist peace through foundational clarity is fortitude.

So, Bitcoin is the strength to stand firm in your values, to act with purpose, and to build a life of meaning, no matter what the world throws at you. Here’s to finding the source, fixing the root, and living with unshakable resolve.

Discussion

This outburst came as a result of an in-depth discussion with a friend about what fixes this and that and how Bitcoin may be co-opted and used for bad. Fiat has made people inherently shortsighted and pessimistic. That healing will take time.

When Siri “helps” and Nostr doesn’t.
