This initiative was launched around 1-2 years ago to return to a kind of neutrality which Switzerland had since it was introduced in 1815 and during the two world wars and the cold war. Since then neutrality was slowly undermined with seeking closer ties to NATO (which most citizens don't know aboutm but the now EU-sanctioned Col. Jacques Baud often talked about it) and later to the EU. The article I posted takes on the blatant and baseless warmongering which is also rampant in the Swiss government and most of Swiss mainstream media.

The initiative tries to stop and revert all this. Of course, I will vote in favor of it (if they don't forget to send me the voting material...). At least in Switzerland we will have the opportunity to vote on this important issue. Better late than never.
