The question is that the narrative tells us it's bad humans with bad economic systems (oh look, trying to take down capitalism again, I wonder about the political inclinations of the vast majority of those people!) that are driving the changes, and that therefore the bad humans should atone for their sins and the bad economic system should be dismantled.

For this, extremely strong and concentrated overwhelming centralized power is needed, and just like in Communiat utopias of the past, you can be sure they will let the power go once it's consolidated (... not).
