You probably need to setup a few (2-4) inbox and outbox relays.
Most clients that support sending DMs will try to send them to your "inbox" relays instead of broadcasting them out to the wider network. Your inboxes relays are a short list of publicly accessible relays where other people can send events to to make sure you get them

I set up a couple of relays following what I have on #Amethyst. After refreshing the browser tab, the DM's loaded. But the issue is, when I press the Back button on a DM, the Message page shows nothing. So I have to refresh the browser tab again and they reappear. The same thing happens when I press the Back button. I think that's a bug.
