Just got a summary of electricity usage for this month from my power supplier. It was all fine until the part where they broke down the cost BY DEVICE CATEGORY 😳

Evidently it’s a normal thing now for “smart meters” to monitor the electrical signal of devices in order to categorize them.

Just one more reason to start building out an off-grid renewable power system for my bitcoin mining. 🙄
