At work I'm a web developer currently using Linux, but I'll getting a company laptop and I'll be forced onto Windows. As many know, that OS is a privacy nightmare and full of bugs, right now I'm thinking about going freelance in the near future, I'm thinking about getting into managing Kubernetes, I heard the pay is quite good. 😊

At home, I'm using Arch Linux with Gnome, thinking about switching to Cosmic Desktop.

I used to use Arch at work, I had to switch to Debian because I had to install Sentinel One security software, I don't think it does anything to improve security in IMHO. πŸ˜…

Wonder where sentinel one will be in the future and if it will beat market share of Crowdstrike moving forward. I always broke my Arch installs not keeping my packages up to date. Went from Arch to Antergos and then ended up on Manjaro. Arch without as much bleeding edge. But I still get to enjoy AUR and pacman πŸ”₯

I updated mine one a week, I didn’t get much issue, just an occasional issue now and than. I tend to use AppImage instead of AUR πŸ™‚

I remember Antergos, got succeeded by EndeavourOS.

As long as Sentinel One is careful with Ring-0, they might have a chance, but I don’t know πŸ™‚
