I'm just bleary-eyed and run down, at this point. We're chronically understaffed.
It's really easy to find someone to vibe-code your software 🥴, but every other position is nearly impossible to fill with anyone highly competent. And now that everything is vibe-coded, the workload on the other positions has skyrocketed.
Testing is getting harder and harder with this vibe-coded crap, as it doesn't even do what the story describes and the devs don't even notice. And they have unit tests that are also vibe-coded, and it's like, did you even check that they find any bugs? I manually test everything and catch the bugs and hone the tests. You have to test your tests, ffs.
And if you write a bug report, they only fix half and return it and it's like, did you even read the other half? And then you realize that they didn't read the first half, either. ðŸ˜
