I have bitbox2 hardware wallet that constantly glitches and resets to where I have to re-enter the password constantly. I want to get a cold card wallet. Can I just enter my seed phrase into my new wallet and my old wallet funds will be there? #asknostr

Probably

Yes

To elaborate. The wallet doesn't hold your coins. It only holds your keys. They allow movement of your coins which is recorded on the block chain.

test a backup and restore of your wallet using your seed phrase, then you will repeat the process of restoring the backup but onto the coldcard.

this way you are sure already that the restore works.

another tip for being sure is loading your wallet into a third party, open source provider like sparrow, instead of relying on bitbox software.

this would be an extra layer of confirmation that your restored wallet has all of your addresses/funds before moving onto the coldcard, which requires a third party wallet software
