because all the women were gentle by default .. only few among men were expected to be gentle :-) ..others were warriors , blacksmiths , farmers and freaks :-)

Patriarchy. When women live in male dominated societies we are forced to play head games.

Women often prove their skills when given equal rights. Still much work to do.
