Because of the (false) beliefs that Americans are trained to hold about GDP, the Trump Administration will take a "victory lap."

But GDP is a terrible government statistic.

It counts government spending as a positive.

But government spending is mostly a waste. It diverts resources into uneconomic and purely political ventures.

Government spending is a drain.

The key is real wealth production...a rising standard of living...an increase in savings rather than debt.

And we know, just by opening our eyes ... that's not happening in America. We don't need a government statistic to inform us.
