I saw several broken verifications with the accounts I follow scrolling #nostr with #amethyst (the red stop sign in the Nostr address).

Especially people using nostrverified.com who didn't update their Nostr address when the service closed. But not only.

And it made me think that the verification isn't great when using a service like this. Because anyone can do it, using your name. So, how could you trust it?

And I've already felt that when looking for accounts to follow. Basically, I only follow accounts that:

- Have posted their npub on Twitter

- Have people I follow interacted with

So, the NIP05 doesn't look so efficient. At least this way. So, I tried to verify myself with my website. And it worked! I'm really me now 😅
