There's Codeberg, but it seems to have become a home for hard left-wingers.

THAT, and they had the same DDoS issues as SourceHut late last year and earlier this year.. ..many, many outages

It's the Bluesky of git hosting.

ouch 😬

No, Bluesky actually has their own git, it's called Tangled

We're in a fucked up timeline

depends on what you need. I have collaborated on projects entirely by sending email patches back and forth.

mostly just personal projects that i want a decent web interface for sharing URLs without going the self-hosted route

i just use stagit. generate html files on git push. no server required

I don't see the issue with using GitHub

there's no major issue currently, but Microsoft seems to find a way to ruin things they own, so it really only feels like a matter of time

Moving to a new remote server is easy. 🤷🏻

Oh I see. I know you said no self-host, but Gitea is pretty easy to set up. It's available on Umbrel OS.

i've used Gitea before, but kinda overkill for a single user

Radicle seems OK

My proposal to fork/reproduce it with nostr keys also might have a dev working on it soon https://bounties.monero.social/posts/207/
