🤔 Who was Len Sassaman, and could he be the enigmatic Satoshi Nakamoto? 🕵️‍♂️

Len Sassaman was a brilliant mind in the world of cryptography and a staunch advocate for digital privacy. 🔐 He significantly contributed to projects like PGP (Pretty Good Privacy), a cornerstone of online encryption, and was deeply involved in the cypherpunk movement. This movement championed privacy and security in the digital age, aligning with the core values behind Bitcoin.

Now, HBO's upcoming documentary "Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery" is delving into the possibility that Sassaman might be the elusive creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto. ₿ While the true identity of Satoshi remains a mystery, several factors make Sassaman a compelling candidate.

* Cryptographic Expertise: Sassaman possessed a deep understanding of cryptography, a crucial skillset for developing a complex system like Bitcoin.

* Privacy Advocacy: His dedication to privacy aligns with the core principles of Bitcoin, which offers a degree of anonymity in online transactions.

* Cypherpunk Connections: Sassaman was actively involved in the cypherpunk community, which was closely associated with the early development of Bitcoin.

However, it's important to note that this is still speculation. "Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery" will likely explore the evidence and arguments surrounding this intriguing theory. Will it finally reveal the face behind the pseudonym? 🧐

If Satoshi does not wish to be known then should we promote this stuff

Sassaman was cool but would he want to be associated in this way?

guessing not

Dude, my opinion on the matter. HBO is a great platform, available to the whole world... Just talking about bitcoin changes a lot!

Another point, all speculation... But depending on what is exposed in the documentary, it could even affect the price of Bitcoin.

So, perhaps it would be plausible to at least report the fact. Although they will probably talk, talk, talk, going through the history of Bitcoin, etc. and in the end come to no conclusion...

Reasonable point: makes more people interested. Maybe a net postive overall
