Good example: former SEC and current Senator Warren staffer asked me - “so we’re talking about bitcoin. Maybe it’s a basic question, but why is it the Bitcoin policy institute and not the crypto policy institute?” They hate the scams and the fraud, but not Bitcoin.

And I broke it down for them - stables, bitcoin, and crypto - and why Bitcoin is my focus, as a progressive, and that Senator Warren should care more—for her constituents and the country. Her staff were asking the right questions, and intrigued that a progressive from “their team” was such an avid bitcoiner.

It’s just sad how uninformed these people are. It’s not like we haven’t been saying this for years. But the scammers bought a seat at the table and now we’re forced to pretend we’re on the same team for political access.

Nah we don’t have to pretend we’re on the same team. We can politely show how they’re full of shit. And nostr:npub1fpcd25q2zg09rp65fglxuhp0acws5qlphpg88un7mdcskygdvgyqfv4sld being a 501c3 education focused was a selling point for them — we’re not lobbyists and we’re not industry trying to buy their vote. Just a resource doing education and saying you don’t want to be caught behind on this…

"Crypto" = scam. That word should only be used the perjoritive sense.

Sen. Warren needs to denounce scams but needs to open her small mind to Bitcoin. Either that ir retire .. she may be just too old and too corrupt herself to ever get it.
