They did not touch Iran's energy infrastructure.
Iran's 2 "attacks" were largely negated.
Israel's "retaliation" was muted at best.
The incumbent US Administration cannot survive this election with high oil prices.
I smell a rat. Something isn't right.
My observation is that the global powers pressure them to avoid escalation as for now they don't like to start WW3.
Russia supports Iran but also pressure them to deescalate.
USA supports Israel but also pressure them to deescalate.
So both of them do a limited responses to 'wash their faces' and not be considered weak. The rest is mostly an effect.
