Ignoring Craig Wright and hoping he will go away has been the absolutely worst strategy that the OG community has ever adopted. It has given him runway and compounded his power to harass and silence and financially cripple people who could otherwise be helping Bitcoin.

What if CW is a government agent? In a fiat paradigm, they have unlimited resources. How do you fight that? Litigation just gives them more power. Don't fall into their trap.

Bitcoin doesn't win by confrontation, but by being better than fiat.

The reasons to believe he's a spook are the same as the reasons to believe he's an out-of-control sociopath. Often, their behaviors are the eerily similar.

#[1] and #[2] re-noted this, so maybe pay attention

This kind of scum needs heavy hands

I am just SO frustrated by the "ignore him and he will go away" strategy. Many bitcoiners I have interacted with face-to-face have simply dismissed the drama as absurd, when the damage is real. Real people have had to absorb the financial and emotional distress of the legal adventurism and abuse at the hand of a literal sociopath funded by a billionaire moron.

This is why us humans keep losing ground. The psychos are maximally aggressive and fight for every inch while we take a nap and try to pretend “ we are taking the high ground” it is frustrates me most of all. We refuse to fight back, to defend our selves

It’s sad that this is still going on with him.

The formation of Blockstream and #[6]‘s efforts keeps bullies like him in check, but I wish it wasn’t necessary.

It would not have been necessaey, but for cowardice.

When you consider the community under threat, and the unimaginable wealth they've accumulated, the fact that VC‘s have to dig deep or people have to go hat-in-hand is just bullshit. The amount of net worth standing behind those who think CSW is a fraud is astonomical. Why does the community need to beg?
