With all the talk of the different fancy detox methods out there...reminder that #fasting is still one of if not the best, and anyone can do it, anytime.

WARNING: if you're on a carb diet, then 72 hours will be HARD, as your sugar addiction will slap you in the face right out of the gate, and be stuck on your back the entire time. If you're on the carnivore diet (zero carbs) like I recommend, 3 days is a breeze, as you aren't removing any addicting drugs from your routine—just lowering the fuel knob—thus making the process very manageable.

I've personally had success with this method of establishing fat adaptation first, then fasting. Important to manage the refeeding well. My experience has been that the day after refeeding was rocky, but then felt great after that.

What issues did you have? I've always gone straight back to eating steak and never had an issue

Fasting if you're already keto is pointless though.
