I thought the tv show based on the caveman character was actually pretty good

Would this work as a way for those behind the Great Firewall of China to access banned news from the West? Is Nostr accessible in China?

I'm sure there are some relays and clients accessable in China and if not they can make their own if they are all banned

I'll be playing around with this sucker later.

Let me know what you think when you do! Send me any feeds you make 💜

Yes, this is normal at startup. No cache exists at first, so it's created.

The cache file contains the articles that the account has already posted so it doesn't repost them on the next fetch. So when you first start it up, obviously no cache file exists because no articles have been posted yet. After the cache is initialized, it should fetch articles and post them. It should start making a bunch of posts after it initializes but I can't remember if it may wait for the fetch interval. If nothing posted after, just stop it and start it again and it should go.

Okay so with setting up mine for the first time I notice now it does not initialize and post until AFTER the first interval rolls around... So after an hour it should start... I'm going to fix this so it runs on startup as well. But a work around if you wanna get it going is set the config to a minute, let it run to get populated, then change it back to an hour and start again.

RSS feed I tried didn't work, will try another feed in the morning. 🫡

I just set up 14 of them. What is the url of the feed you tried?

undertheradarmag.com/site/rss

I will test this out in a few days when I'm back home. Thanks for releasing the code.

The release version starts after the first fetch interval passes an not on startup, fyi. I'm going to fix this but if you want to bootstrap the articles just set the config to 1 minute initially, then you can stop it, set to desired interval and restart it. I have a lot of other ideas for the wizard to, like auto generating the keys and making an input for accept metadata in the setup wizard.
